Satyendra Nath Bose was an Indian physicist whose groundbreaking work transformed quantum physics. In 1924, he sent a paper to Albert Einstein, who recognised its importance and helped publish it. His research laid the foundation for Bose-Einstein statistics and inspired the term ‘bosons’.
